All-classification Top 25 poll Week I

The No. 1 team in TNVarsity.com All-classification Top 25 poll has to be the Ensworth Tigers.
Ensworth kicked off the 2014 season by traveling to Louisville. KY. and defeating the USA Today No. 2 team in the nation, Trinity 27-26.

The three-time defending Division II-AA state champion Tigers of Coach Ricky Bowers got a strong performance from running back D'Andre Ferby.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder, rushed for 194-yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the Ensworth attack.
Oakland proved TNVarsity.com right in ranking the Patriots No. 2 in the Rivals.com's Tennessee High School preseason poll.
Rarely has any team gone into Tomahawk Stadium and dominated perennial power Riverdale the way Oakland did in Week 0.
The Pats got a solid performance from Fred Wade that led to a 41-7 Oakland victory.
Wade rushed for 172 yards and thrilled the crowd with an 89-yard scoring run on the Pats opening play.
Wade scored on an 89-yard run on Oakland's first play and the rout was on. At the half, it was over as Oakland led by a 34-7 margin.

No. 3 Whitehaven defeated Mitchell 20-6; No. 4 Maryville rolled over Knoxville Webb 35-14; No. 5 Alcoa hammered Smith County on the road 38-0; No. 6 Brentwood Academy spanked MUS 36-7; No. 7 Fulton destroyed Powell 46-0; No. 8 Sevier County never let up on the pedal with a 62-27 win over Bearden; No. 9 McCallie surprised Cleveland 55-35 and No. 10 Baylor, that played the weakest foe of the Top 10 teams, defeated Howard, 46-8.
