Blue Cross Bowl Blowouts
The first day of the 2012 Blue Cross Bowl in Cookeville saw action from the Division II side as Webb faced ECS for the Class A title and MUS took on Ensworth for the Class AA title.

Webb ran all over ECS in the Class A championship. Junior running backs Robby Strachan and Todd Kelly had a field day. Strachan ran for 133 yards with 2 TD's and Todd Kelly ran for 118 yards and 2 TD's. Overall Webb ran for 424 yards as they went on to easily beat ECS 47-14.
Ensworth had a tougher time in their championship game getting by MUS 31-14. The game seemed close than the score indicates. Ensworth only had a 3-point lead at the half. Ensworth took control in the second half. They had over 16 minutes of possession to MUS's 7 minutes.
