McNeal and 3 Commanders highlight 2A All-state

Friendship Christian's John McNeal was again named the 2A Tennessee Sports Writers Association's Coach of the Year, but Grace Christian placed more players on the All-state team than the state champion Commanders.
Friendship Christian's (QB) A.J. Long, (OL) Ian Isbell and (LB) Tanner Martin were first team selections after helping the Commanders to a 13-1 record and a 44-7 victory over Adamsville in the 2012 2A state championship final.

Grace Christian players named the All-state squad were (RB) Will McKamey, (OL) Austin Arnold, (LB) Bryson Shelton, (DB) Bill Dixon and (DB) Andy Eddins.
McKamey was the 2012 Mr. Football Back honoree and has committed to the Naval Academy.
