No changes at the top of AP poll

Only Class 5A had a change at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in this week's Tennessee Associated Press Football Prep Polls.
Lenoir City's 42-27 upset win over Knoxville West Friday helped persuade enough AP voters to move the Panthers into the No. 3 spot in 5A behind new No. 2 Jackson Northside.

The rest of the classifications remained the same at the top with 6A Maryville (7-0), 5A Beech (8-0), 4A Giles County (7-), 3A CAK (7-0), 2A Boyd-Buchanan (7-0), 1A South Pittsburg (6-1) and D-II Ensworth (8-0) all No. 1.
A pair of top ranked teams will battle on Friday with 2A Boyd-Buchanan invade 1A South Pittsburg for what should be a battle.
South Pittsburg defeated Boyd-Buchanan 26-10 in 2011 and 41-6 in 2010. The Buccaneers last win over the Pirates was 20-12 in 2009.
